Appearance: Zazu is a small red-billed hornbill bird. With blue feathers and a white front. Zazu has large wings perfect for gliding and a large yellow/orange nose. Zazu has large blue eyes and quite big feet for a small bird. He is fast in the air and can get a big speed on the go. When walking Zazu tends to waddle more than walk.

Personality: Zazu's a nervous wreck. As majordomo to King Mufasa, his proper, dignified, nervous, and easily-rattled personality is the polar opposite in temperament of Simba and Nala. He tends to panic during emergencies, such as the wildebeest stampede. But, Zazu has got a sense of humor, as he was able to make a joke about turning Scar into a throw rug (To which Mufasa ends up laughing at).

Zazu is polite at times but can also come across as rude to some. Zazu Is very proud and takes himself and his job extremely seriously. With Zazu's sense of humor also comes his sarcasm, Zazu does tend to use sarcasm a lot of the time. It is known that not a lot of the lions in the Pridelands take Zazu seriously, which he is oblivious to.

History: Zazu has always been in the Pridelands as long as he can remember. Zazu was majordomo to King Mufasa during his rein as King of the Pridelands. Zazu aided the king with anything he needed and was his eyes and ears around the Pridelands. Zazu had a close relationship with the King and his family and the oter Pridelanders. Zazu's duties also included looking after and keeping an eye on the cubs, especially Simba and Nala, which many times proved to be a handful. However Zazu was trusted my the king a lot.

During the wildebeest stampede engineered by Scar to kill Mufasa and Simba, it is Zazu who lead Mufasa to Simba. As he watched the stampede, he went to go back for help, but was struck by Scar into a wall and rendered unconscious. Zazu was deeply sadend by the death of the King and his friend. After Simba runs away, Zazu spent his time comforting Sarabi after Scar told the pride of Mufasa's and Simba's deaths.

Zazu has stayed in the Pridelands to watch over the lion and lionesses he cares about. He is less an aid now to King Scar and more like a toy to him. and is often left jailed in a cage in Scars quarters. Scar doesn't listen to him and doesn't ask his advice on anything. Zazu is often used for Scar and the others entertainment or amusement. Zazu also has to cope with the hyenas who he hates and is equally scared of.

Rp Sample: Zazu glided over above the Pridelands, looking down onto the grounds. He spent most of his time in the sky these days or in high trees, it saved him from being summoned by Scar or chased by hungry hyenas. Zazu knew how things were, the Pride was starving and had no food. Scar was in charge now and things had changed. Zazu hated Scar, not to mention he was scared of him. He just had to look at Scar for his feathers to fall. However Zazu knew how to press Scar's buttons, he knew what made Scar angry. Zazu made the mistake one day of making a snide remark quietly not noticing Scar could hear him. " This would not be happening if Mufasa was here" he said under his breath. Needless to say Zazu was shut up and locked up. From that moment on nobody was aloud to mention the former King's name, as if he never even existed.

Zazu landed on the tree and stood for a minute looking over to Pride Rock. Even the cubs were being quiet and not even playing or making noise, they just sat there, still and quiet. Either they were so hungry that they had no energy, or they were worried they would annoy Scar. Zazu thought many times about jut flying away somewhere else, but no, he couldn't leave Sarabi, she needed him and he owed it to Mufasa to watch over her and the cubs. Suddenly from the distance a voice screeched, "ZAZU!" , he could recognise that shout anywhere, it was Scar. Zazu didn't know what he wanted. Maybe to sing a song and entertain him, let the lions practice there pouncing on him or finally maybe it was time for Zazu to be eaten. Zazu took a deep breath and spread his wings, he jumped of the tree and glided up to Priderock, he couldn't leave Scar waiting, he knew that.
