Brabus' Herd

Rafiki is known as the shaman of the Pride Lands, as he performs activities which are similar to those of a human tribal shaman, but he also sometimes acts quite silly. He tends to speak in third person when speaking of himself. Though he may be old and weary (he has a bad knee), he can still pack a wallop with his staff (and simian kung-fu action) if necessary. He often pops up in a bizarre manner to teach his wisdom in a rather roundabout way, and has the ability to read omens and communicate with the Great Kings of the Past.


Pumbaa

Pumbaa is a very likable character as he's truly loyal to Simba and very protective of Timon. He loves to consume grubs, and longs for friends who won't abandon him. In The Lion King 1½, it is revealed he feels awkward when in crowds, which creates a problem he has with his stomach that causes him to flatuate. However, he displays child-like naivety which is sometimes confused for stupidity, but actually, he comes up with some intelligent plans and insightful ideas, which Timon rapidly claims as his own.


Ukarimu

Ukarimu is usually calm and able to appreciate life, though he does like to tell a joke or two. He's not at all as playful and adventurous as the cubs, though he enjoys teasing them with a noogie. But, he is temperate in everything and knows when to stop with his antics. He is very welcoming and hospitable to stranded lions or hyenas and is very skilled at making friends with adolescents from other prides. He also greatly respects Ni, he sees him as the "coolest guy ever" and a row-model and his best older friend. He likes to spend time with him a lot.
However, when it comes to his love interests, Ukarimu does his best to win the affections of a girl and is tenacious, and comes with some very intelligent plans and ideas. He's also known to be very crafty and he made certain prototypes of branches in cubhood, because of which he was usually laughed at and called a moron. But now, his reputation in the pride is much firmer.
