Another day

She was lost, she had wandered so far from home. Mheetu was gone, and so she couldn't return home without him. Well, at least not while Scar was King. The lioness hadn't been out this far before, but she wasn't sure where to go. The outlands probably would've been ok for her to stay, but so many knew here there, and probably wouldn't be the best idea to stay there, after all most thought of her as someone who betrayed Mufasa when she bred with Scar, most hated her for her actions with Scar, and so she wasn't sure where to go.

Maybe this place would welcome her? Though she had no idea what would happen or who she would run into. The lioness sighs and lowers her head as she came to a stop. She was beating herself up since the first time Mheetu got hurt, how she couldn't cry or be emotional. Scar had burned her out when they had talked before Mheetu was found alive but barely.

And now it seemed like she couldn't come back home, Mheetu was gone, though he had saved her from Nala's father who tried to mate with her. But no one could save her now, well except herself and maybe if someone had followed her. But no hyenas followed her, and Sarabi was still at Pride Rock, watching out for Nala and the others, while she had been outcast like many others who disobeyed Scar, and were lucky to survive by running off.

The lioness looked around, but made no sound. The coldlands looked so cold and dark. Sarafina shuddered a bit. This looked like no home for her, but maybe she would find a new if she could survive a way out. She was nervous, scared and shaken from what had happened to her in the past couple of weeks or so. She dared not to repeat it to anyone, except maybe her daughter or Sarabi.

She had been here for about a day or two, she wasn't sure what to do, but she was sure that something bad could happen from being a lone.

Shinikizo had been patrolling the borders, his cubs back at home playing with Sakitu, the prince of the Coldlands. The white lion family irked the tan male lion, it may be their birth right to be royalty, but Kizo felt that it was his right to rule. After the emotional breakdown in the Lowlands, Shinikizo had been going slightly insane in his quest to make his parents proud. He would rule the Coldlands and send for his mate and cubs, they would be the perfect family, the perfect royals of the lands. But soon enough, red would stain the pure lands of the snow covered terrain and the lion had no idea that it would be his own. Either or, Shinikizo wouldn't get his way no matter how hard he tried. Shani had almost made that clear for him before he wandered off with their cubs, his two beautiful cubs that he would do anything for. He would kill for them, he would die for them, he would go to the end of the earth and back for his cubs whether they liked it or not.

As he was patrolling, the lone figure of a lioness found her way into the lands. Shinikizo watched her from a distance, she seemed to be a rogue and the tan male smiled a sick grin. If this was indeed a rogue, then she would be the perfect target to mate and kill. The cub that he would produce would be a strong one, he knew that, and it would love him like a true father! He would spin off the story that he found the cub, and any similarities were only a coincidence. Then he would tell the cub that they were abandoned by their deceased mother who died at birth, and that this cub would be only adopted. No one would know that this male had sired the cub, but he'd make sure that his cubs didn't fall for this new cub, for inbreeding wouldn't be the best thing for any of the lands. Kizo approached the new female with a sly yet seductive smile on his face, his scar was on the same eye as her former leader but how was Shinikizo to know that this may deter her away from him. "And what are you doing wandering around the Coldlands my dear, have you lost your way?"

Upon closer inspection, Shinikizo found that this female was almost twice his age, so he had advantage in strength, speed and stamina. He could easily take advantage of the aging lioness and easily kill her in the long run. The male's eyes narrowed slightly as he walked around her, almost as if he was inspecting her. His tail brushed against her lower chin slightly before her finished his circular motion. "May I ask you what your name is my dear?" If Kizo had a name it would be easier for him to find out where this lioness was when he went to go claim the cub, and Shinikizo knew that no one would miss this lioness if she were to disappear. That was the whole point of bring a rogue was it not? No family to love and care for you, no pride to protect you, it was a miserable life that a rogue had. Fortunately even though his father abused him, Kizo had a home to turn to, a pride to protect him. And this new cub would have the same exact thing, a pride and a father to love it. At least, that was the plan, but every one of Kizo's plans were bound to fail, eventually.

The tawny colored lioness hoped to run into someone that was at least welcoming. She had probably other places she could venture off to but she choose to come here for some odd reason, maybe less would know about Scar and her and everything else in the pridelands here.

She stopped in her tracks as someone approached her, she watched him as he placed the seductive smile upon his face, and she saw the Scar, oh that reminded her so much of Scar, which now she just wanted to avoid and such for she was angry with him, probably as much as he was with her. She listens to his words as he spoke them. "I have not lost my way, at least I don't think I have lost my way for I'm on the lookout for a new home." She explains to him, she wonders if he could smell the stench of Scar upon her, or maybe that scent had long gone.

She was indeed six years of age, though those years had taught her things that this lion probably still needed to learn. She did her best to stay calm cool and collected as he circled her, and felt his tail brush her chin as he circled her, though her eyes sort of fallowed his motion. "Whats your name big boy? I'm Sarafina" She asks and says to him. She would play along with this game. Her daughter probably would miss her, but as for everyone else, now that was up in the air, for they all seemed to hate her after her son's attack had happened.

She would dare not speak of her past, nor Scar nor anyone else. Maybe it was something to give her to start her life over, though she was six years of age, it didn't give her much to start her life over with.

Shinikizo was pleased when the tawny lioness said that she was looking for a new home and he shivered when she had called him 'big boy'. It was obvious that the lioness was playing his game, but he would win the finale. Many thoughts ran through his head at this vulnerable lioness who had given her name away. He knew of Sarafina from the sister pride over the mountains, she was a former Pridelander and the mother of at least one cub, one that was Shinikizo's own age. A sick plan formed in his head, after this female was gone he would go attack Nala and have her give him a cub too. But Kizo didn't know that his plan would fail just as all the rest of them had. Sarafina had questioned what Shinikizo's own name was and he thought for only a moment, it was too early to give out his real name for he had fallen in love with Shani. So he stuck to a more pleasant yet darker name, "My name is Aibu," It meant disgrace and he knew that if this cub he was about to produce was a male that would be it's name.

The male shook his mane as he inched closer to Sarafina, trying to act as sly and seductive as possible. This was all a game to the lion, all a ploy to gain the necessary heirs. Of course, he wouldn't tell this aging lioness this for who knows what she would do with the cub? "So if you are looking for a new home, why the Coldlands my dear? There are many other, suitable places to live as a rogue," Shinikizo held his head high as if he was some dignitary, not just a common lion with little respect for his leader. The male thought briefly to his cubs stationed back at home, none the less probably playing with that royal scum of a cub. There was a slight amount of resentment towards the royal family all wrapped up in his twisted ways that didn't seem to make sense. He wished that Ismahel's father would have killed his own father, maybe then Kizo would have turned into a better lion, and his children would be of seemingly true love. Although, they technically already were, even if they didn't wish to accept that fact.

Kizo smiled and stepped closer to Sarafina, having his fur brush against hers as he whispered into her ear, his teeth bared slightly in the close proximity. It was almost as if he was going to nibble the lioness' ear but he restrained himself, "Do you happen to have any cubs my dear? So we can, retrieve them for you if the time comes?" That was utter bull crap, Kizo only wanted to know of competitors the new addition to his family might have. He knew of Nala but could there be more? Any males he would downright attack, he didn't care of their age or power. Any males were a threat if they retaliated against the idea of their mother having a new love interest, although he knew that after this day Sarafina wouldn't dare return to the Coldlands; alive. Nala on the other hand, well that was for his own personal gain no? She would be a part in this big ploy just as her mother was, and if Kizo could seduce and wipe out a whole family of lionesses? Then more power to him.

No one other than the pridelands knew of Mheetu, the son she had a year or two after Nala. She just wanted to forget about him, after all, he caused her a lot of problems between Scar and herself, and between her and others in the pride. She hoped she could just start over, she wanted to sort of start over, and by joining another pride it seemed like she was going to do just that.

She wasn't sure what this lion was thinking or planning on doing, but she was prepared to stand her ground, and possibly fight if she had to fight. She hears his name and she gives a light nod to it. She wasn't sure if it was his real name or not, but she let it slide and didn't ask any further questions to him.

At least this lion seemed less of a threat than the lion who bred and she had Sarafina, oh she had ran into him on the search of her son, but he had died on the way down the ravine when her son came to her rescue. She listens to his question as he asked it, of why she was out here. "I just got to get away from that old home of mine, the further the better." She answers him. She wanted to remain a pridelander, but it seemed like now she had no choice, and to not be saught out by anyone, or if they knew her, the mother of Nala who was betrothed to the deceased king's son.

She watches as he drew closer to her, she was a bit worried of what could happen now, she was an unescorted female, looking for a home, and that was a bad mixture. She listens to him as he spoke to her again. She wasn't sure if she would tell him or not, but instead she shook her head, Mheetu was gone. "No I don't, not any more, he passed when saving me from a rogue lion." She explains to him, and then there was Nala, which she didn't mention, for her daughter wasn't a cub.

Scar probably didn't care what she did, she wasn't under his power, though the hurt ran deep between them, he used to care about her, she used to care about him, but he changed, and she had Nala, and for some reason it seemed like he changed back after Nala was a year or so, and she mated with him, and she had Mheetu. But she wouldn't give that much info out, she knew better than that. "Scar doesn't care about me any more." She says quietly.

A sick smile formed on Shinikizo's face when she said the further away from her home the better. It made him feel more in control of the fate of this lioness than ever before. His claws became unsheathed at the statement that she had no cubs, 'She's playing along...' and his eyes narrowed. His smile widened and he crept forward. "Good, then no one will be here to hear your scream," The Borderlands were far off from the dens and hunting grounds, and Ismahel was patrolling the other side of the territory. No, the only ones who might hear this lioness were the Shadowlanders right next door, but they wouldn't do anything. Even if there was a treaty between the two lands, Kizo knew that the new king had too much on his shoulders to act to a poor scream. The lion moved in a flash of tan and obsidian, clawing at Sarafina's hind legs. He spat at her, "I know who you are, Sarafina of the Pridelands, you lie, you have a daughter as well! I'm not stupid, nor am I gullible,"

As he dug his claws into her haunches he whispered into her ear, "Don't scream, it'll be your worst mistake yet," The bliss he felt from attacking this lioness was overwhelming, but he knew that it was immoral. He only hoped that Sarafina kept her yap shut, for if she didn't he would claw into her back and neck, more so each time she screamed. Once the deed was done, Shinikizo stood over the battered and beaten lioness, scoffing that he had been able to take down such a pathetic female. "You're tough, I'll give you that, perfect genes for the mother of more of my cubs," he laughed and padded around her, "I'll find you again Sarafina, in three months when my cubs are born. It will be your last day on Earth, so live it well," He would watch carefully for any signs of horror on the tawny lioness' face, "Oh don't worry my dear," he cooed, "My cubs will be happy with their many siblings, especially when I bring their sisters and brother from the Lowlands," He wanted to make Sarafina fear him, to show he that he already had a litter of cubs and maybe more.

A sick laugh was emitted from his throat, "You see, because I can't trust you lionesses, you've wronged me in the past! Besides, even if you were to live, the cub can't survive alone without a mother's milk for long," It would be crazy for a lioness to go hunting and leave their children in the open. Even if the cubs were well hidden, they were easy prey for anything that lurked about. Shinikizo cleaned his claws of any blood in the snow and resheathed them before starting to walk off. An extra bounce in his step as he did. But he turned around once more to look at the pitiful lioness, "Three months Sarafina, enjoy your last moments in this world. Don't worry, you'll be reunited with your cub soon, and Nala will surely follow," Shinikizo remembered Nala's name from the days he had in the Pridelands on visits. The similarities were uncanny and Kizo knew that this was her mother. A laugh was given and Kizo walked off, and now he really needed just some time with his sons. But he knew that he wouldn't get that, he never got what he wanted.

She wasn’t sure what his plan was, but maybe she should’ve gone to another pride than this pride. She knew she wasn’t going to be any match for the lion that was younger than she was. She backed up slightly, she wasn’t sure what was going to happen now, and she didn’t like where this was going. She growled as he clawed at her hind legs. As calm as possible with a bit of worry and anger in her voice, she replied to him, she was a bit worried of what he might do to her. “I have a daughter yes, but she isn’t a cub.” She explains to him. She growled again when he dug his claws into her haunches. She didn’t like this one bit.

When he ordered her in a whisper to not scream, she kept her lips shut, afraid of what he would do to her if she did scream. She wanted to scream, she wanted to turn around and attack him when he was doing what he was doing. She felt the relief though when he got off of her. When he moved around her to face her, she glared at him. “Three months?” She asks him. She wasn’t happy about hearing those words, she didn’t want to die by another paw, and she wanted to die of age. Though the horror was written on her voice, she couldn’t think of anything else to say, though she was thinking it. He was worst then her ex mates, they didn’t want to kill her, but instead they did other things, one left her, and the other changed back to the hateful male. “I’m not worried one bit.” She says to him, though the horror said otherwise on her face. He listens to his laugh, and it made her sick. “I haven’t wronged you!” She says to him. “What did I do to you in the past?” She asks him. She watched him leave though. She wanted to go back to the pride lands, but she couldn’t. She was older, and she couldn’t fight him off. “Don’t you touch Nala!” She growled at him. She knew her son was probably dead already, after all, he had took a horrible fall in the ravine.
