Character Images

It has come to my attention today that many of our members are using recolored fan arts of other artist's characters. Whether it be from a simple eye color change to a complete recolor I feel like this needs to be addressed.

I was contacted today by an artist that requested that some images be taken down because they were using a friend of his artwork. Not wanting to cause trouble I decide to post this.

If you have a recolored piece of artwork that you did not draw (screenshots from the movies are exempt from this rule) I ask you kindly to please remove it. Art of canon and semi-canon characters should be credited as appropriate.

If you are now in need of pictures for your characters, contact me. All members of TLKDH are able to get free commissions from me.

But Teo - what if we have permission from the artist to recolour their artwork?

If you have permission be sure to screenshot it and show it to me. If you have permission by all means you can keep the images, just be sure to give credit when unnecessary.
