Termite Mounds The termite mounds act as the home to the Outsiders and their only shelter from the harsh terrain. Most animals are unaffected by the termites as they only live in the deepest parts of the hollowed out mounds, but the occasional lion will receive quite the itch!	2	16	The Final Straw;... Crocodile Swamp The Crocodile Swamp is a swamp, or river that defines the border between the Pridelands and the Outlands. It is infested with crocodiles and treacherous to drink out of. Haven The current king of the Outlands discovered this place in his adolescent years and revamped it as much as he could. Located here is a small pool of water that is much cleaner than the rest of the land's, a leafless tree with many branches to provide a tiny amount of shade, and a hollowed out den underground. The den was made by a burrowing animal and has since been hollowed out to allow up to three fully grown males with adequate space to walk around inside.	1	16	Like Mother Like... Dusk Lake Despite its apperance, Dusk Lake is one of the only drinkable water sources in the Outlands. Sure there's dirt and mud that get into the water, but the fact that it's drinkable goes a long way for the pride. There is another pool of water right next to the lake which is undrinkable, but clean enough for cubs to frolic. Lone Tree A lone tree stands proud and tall in this area of what some would call a hostile and barren region. It somehow manages to cling to life, its massive roots protruding from the desert sands. Rocky Spread One of the rockiest places in the Outlands, this is a neutral area where rogues can roam freely. Blood scours the area however, since the smaller and sharper rocks cut into the paw pads of lions unfamiliar with the area.	2	15	Wandering Though... Sun Dec 02, 2012 3:12 pm Tao
Kibaazi Field Beyond the towering termite mounds is a low field where ugly, twisting shrubs and herbs grow, despite the lack of water in the area. The herbs and roots of some plants here are said to have medicinal properties, while others are deadly poisonous. Kitapo Kitapo is the surface trace of an earthquake fault. The area is still seismically active. The fault is responsible for the catastrophic earthquakes that occur in the region periodically. It has been generations since the last large tremor, but in this place, light temblors are often felt – the gradual shifting of earth as the plates shift, creating jagged foothills that line the northern stretches of the Outlands.
